SBK Team Spotlight: Allison Fowler

Alli is one of our newest professional experts at Say Bookkeeping.  She is currently head of Business Development for our New York office.  Alli has a diverse background in business management, networking, communication and accounting.

Alli is our “go to gal” when it comes to attending networking events and getting the word out about Say Bookkeeping. She is a real people person who sees opportunities to connect with potential clients all over the place…even if it’s something as simple as meeting someone on the subway or finding a friend of a friend who needs bookkeeping done for their business.  She is a natural when it comes to connecting people and providing referrals.  Just tell her who your ideal referral is and she’ll happily broker and introduction.  Alli says, “You never know what opportunities will come through a conversation, whether it be on the subway, in line at a coffee shop, or passing out your business card at a farmer’s market.  Keeping the conversation going is the most important part.”

Prior to working at Say Bookkeeping, she worked with SBK’s CEO, Giuseppe Salamone, at JPMorgan Chase and has a solid background in administrative work.  When she is not drumming up new business and dedicating her time to Say Bookkeeping, Alli teaches English as a Second Language online to foreign business executives who wish to improve their speaking and writing skills, so they can easily communicate and conduct business in America.

Alli is a very caring person who is devoted to Say Bookkeeping and its clientele.  When asked about her favorite aspect of Say Bookkeeping she said, “I like getting a chance to meet new people and I appreciate how we are able to make a positive and direct impact on our clients by providing monthly memberships and full account management to businesses from a variety of different industries.  As a small business owner, I also appreciate the fact that some days you just don’t have the time to do every single thing and need help with your bookkeeping.”

Alli has advice to give to those who are just starting their own small business and may need a little help getting started. She suggests getting out into the world as much as possible and talking to new people to make their business more visible.  She recommended staying in the know because “It’s always helpful to research trends in various respective verticals so that small business owners remain experts in their field.”

Alli is based out of Say Bookkeeping’s New York office which is located at 26 Broadway 8th Floor, New York, NY 10004. Feel free to reach out to her via email at [email protected] or call her directly at (917)-382-4110.  She will happy to answer any questions you might have.
